Respond to an RFP
How to respond to an RFP on the PortexAI Datalab as a data owner.
Data buyers issue RFPs to signal demand for a dataset that they are seeking but is not yet available on the Datalab to purchase. Follow these steps as a seller on the Datalab to respond to a buyer's RFP.
Need access to seller privileges? Submit a request in the data studio and we'll get back to you.
Finding RFPs
To view active RFPs, use the RFPs
filter tab in the explore page of the Datalab. Here, you will be able to view all outstanding and active RFPs including the requester and the amount they would pay for that dataset.

Click into an RFP card to view more details about the request.

Responding to an RFP
Once you've found an RFP you'd like to respond to, the first step is to submit a proposal by clicking Submit Proposal
on the RFP listing.

You will be taken to the data studio to begin your proposal. Once you've reviewed the license and details of the RFP, you can submit your proposal for review.

Once you have submitted a proposal, the RFP issuer will review your proposal. If you are accepted to respond to the RFP, the reward will be locked and you can upload your dataset and submit it for review to collect the reward from the issuer.
After noting the license and details of the RFP, you can click Respond to RFP
which begins the response process. Select your Dataset and structure a message to the RFP issuer. Finally enter the wallet for payouts if your submission is accepted.

After submitting a response, you can track its status under the RFPs
tab in the data studio. You will also be notified if your response is accepted or rejected.
